Bauer is a production company that produces many different genres of magazines, and many different brands. These can vary from business magazines, to rock music magazines, and sport magazines, plus many more.

They are the biggest magazine publisher in Britain. Created in 1953 with the launch of Angling Times, and the acquisition of Motor Cycle News in 1956, the company has expanded and has many new brands. The first two they ever created, are still strong brands in their company. Grazia was launched in 2002 as Britain's first weekly glossy, which is also one of the biggest gossip magazines still going today.
They aim to target mainstream and niche audiences, and hope to reach everyone and anyone that they possibly can, this way creating a wide audience to support their empire.
Not only have Bauer been a publisher for magazines, they have branched over many platforms including Radio, TV, and Digital such as the internet, laptops and tablets.

Bauer have many different techniques of distribution. This stems from online, to mail, and even collaborations in retail. These collaborations can be all year round to seasonal, much like their River Island and Grazia all year round collaboration, and the M&S Christmas season collaboration.
